Not sure if the amount of copper in recent penny's is enough to even measure! Most new pennies when they fall on the ground or get wet disintegrate within days! LOL If you do any metal detecting you see where the new pennies are made of pot metal or such that they corrode badly. Wish I had a few barrels of the old copper penny's!
