#302886 RE: Type211 #302885

Type: No, the only extensions are determined based on excessive initial examination and is presented in terms of the number of days.

There are two places to find this: one, the cover of the patent, and at the USPTO PAIR and then click on "Patent Term Adjustment" tab. Older patents, such as '048, will not have this tab. However, once the adjustment rules went into place, the tab will appear with those records that might have one. If we randomly pull a newer application, NeoMedia's 8,189,466, the term tab shows as:

Filing or 371(c) Date: 03-12-2009 Overlapping Days Between {A and B} or {A and C}: 0
Issue Date of Patent: 05-29-2012 Non-Overlapping USPTO Delays: 576
A Delays: 498 PTO Manual Adjustments: 0
B Delays: 78 Applicant Delays: 28
C Delays: 0 Total PTA Adjustments: 548

In order for a patent to have an expiration in 2024, the application would require a filing, or priority date, of 2004-2006, and there are none is NeoMedia's portfolio.

The closest are two patents with a priority of U.S. Provisional Application Ser. No. 60/476,496, filed on Jun. 6, 2003.
