A Knight of the Round Table, following a fierce battle, was lost in the deep, cold, and rainy,forest,Struggling along, he suddenly came upon a hugh and frighteningly ugly dog. The dog seemed agreeable to letting The Knight ride on his back so off they went through the dark and rainy forest, Presently, they came upon a small cottage, The Knight leaned down and rapped on the door of the cottage whereupon a little old lody opened the door. The Knight asked if he could stay there till morning to which the little old lady replied: "I would not turn a Knight out on a dog like this.'
