My predictions may have been more conservative than the typical gleeful optimism expressed for many years by other contributors here, but through the lens of history, I think you'll find that my batting average isn't too bad.

I know some are eager to gloat upon an initial commercial success, but when you predict, "It is going to rain tomorrow!" for 999 straight days and it doesn't happen until the 1000th, well...
