I think I follow you. Essentially you're saying it's possible there hasn't been anything extraordinary about what they've accomplished after all, and that everything has been hyped up to seem like a bigger deal than reality. That's a scary thought but not out of the realm of possibility. It does come down to how much we can trust Glenn, and to this point his judgement hasn't exactly been sterling.
