Microsoft was a start up once also. So was Apple and so were all of the other mega players in the global economy. A $2000 investment may seem high to some but do what I did when I first started. I took $50 or hundred dollars from a group of friends and we invested. The return on that money was $10,000 in our first year. Not bad for a bunch of 18-year-olds.
That was long ago but the same principles apply today.
