I have been thinking more about the idea of partial exercise of the warrant and I see you have brought it up again here. As well as the possibility of compromise to avoid going to trial in the suits, which even if that is not something the USA is usually known to do, still seems like something that would keep a lot of political butts out of the hot seat.

What about a 50/50 dilution, USA becoming equal partners in our historic institution providing affordable entry into home ownership for hard working Americans across our great nation!

Handshakes all around, photo op extraordinaire as they sign Fannie out of bondage for the good of all the taxpayers watching amidst their deliberations on whom to choose in November.

Wishful thinking, I guess. Or is it? Hmm?

Very nice, Mack! I think it will play out very close to your script.

Your setting a precedents for all bank robbers and 7/11 holdups. How long have you held your shares and what might be your age? Might explain why you're interested in compromising with the thiefs. They used to hang horse thiefs, not compromise.

Compromise and we'll fall right into the government's trap. Precedents would be set to the point of no return. Further into the slippery slope of socialism we would fall. You wouldn't by any chance be a plant by our government on a mission to sway public opinion away from prosecution now would you? You NEVER compromise with criminals period. Doing so does nothing but guarantee repeat behavior. This has been proven time and time again throughout history. NO COMPROMISE!!!

So, the best way to resolve this ... is a compromise.
