The government is making it clear they do not like this lawsuit, and they dont want discovery.
This is a repeat of Watergate, when then president Nixon tried to prevent discovery by claiming "executive priveledge".
The Supreme Court did not buy it, and Nixon was forced to turn over the tapes. He knew they were incriminating, thus he resigned, and the Vice President, who became president (Gerald Ford) immediatley "pardoned" Nixon.
Like Watergate, Fannie GATE is about MONEY. Lots of it. With Nixon, it involved the Committe to ReElect the President (Creep) while this involves an illegal taking of fannie shareholder money.
The "discovery" could lead to resignations of high government officials.
