The question is if that is all it took, iOwn, the market was kind of fragile and on shakey ground to begin with. I agree that many jobs were created, but in the final analysis, a company has to make money. Did you really believe that Yahoo had real value of $220/share? I didn't, and I have never owned it. Even worse was a company named CMGI. But then, history proved that it wasn't worth over $100/share.
