is 31% of shorts a lot?

I looks like a 10 day MA for shorts percentage is about 35%,33%,33%,34%,35%,35% for the past 6 days.

Going back a month it still hovers about 33-35%

Running PHOT, FITX, and others, the results are similar.

So no, 31% is not a lot, it's actually a little light.
