Agreed, doesn't make sense why he would retire much more. However it Depends on his vision though. Does anyone know how many shares he had back in 2008? Wonder how it compares? We will know more the next couple months I think.
It really defies logic for anyone to think that he would retire All of his shares, and leave himself with nothing other than the company's inherent value.
