A very hard and sometimes thankless occupation. Know one likes to get pulled over, but think of all the drunk drivers that were stopped, and "what if" they didn't, and went on to take the life away from some one simply driving home from the mall, with a minivan full of kids...
We had that happen here, not too long ago. Everyone in the van died, and the driver not even a scratch!
It happens everyday, some where. Law enforcement can't be everywhere, but they do try hard in their duties.
In any profession there are good and bad people, that take advantage of others, but one rotten apple in the bottom of the box, doesn't speak for or represent all of the other apples!
We salute our Firemen and Policemen around here. They are there rain or shine, and pulling you out of the car when you are 5' in a snow bank.
