You're right Will. CIGS also does not degrade over time like Si does. But even with the many advantages CIGS has over Si the cost/kWh generated is the real measure of the system. Other performance based incentives like SRECs factor into this equation. I like CIGS, that's part of the reason I have so much xsnx.....but I bought when an Si module was $2.30/watt (my cost). I now buy at $0.78. No matter how you slice it, no matter how you run the numbers, Si wins.

The breakage you mention can only be looked at when comparing the cost to manufacture. It's another advantage for CIGS to be sure, but again, waste or no waste, Si is still far less costly to manufacture.

It's not Tom's fault that CIGS has become noncompetitive in today's PV market. But it is his responsibility to tack in a direction that will bring value to the company. Integration might look good on the surface, but as I've said before, it will not add much value to the stock over time. Quick profits for those that trade often and who bought in at a penny or less are possible. But those of us that have been here for many years and who invested in technology need more than $0.09 or $0.10.

I know that there are stock holders out there that only want the quick dime....I don't blame them, but I want more. Penny stocks often live and die by perceived value. For the DTs, buying at a penny and selling at two is a great day. I'm here for the long run, and as a stockholder I expect Tom to make choices that will bring real value to Xsunx, not the "perceived" value the traders want.

Tom can do better than integration.....that's the frustrating part.
