Hmm.. Tom,

Calling that a trend seems to be stretching it a bit. i think a stronger argument could be made that there has been a range shift from bull to bear.

It seems counter-intuitive that that peaks are higher, but then a lot of things about the market are like that <g>

BTW just for the record I have discovered my own super duper secret indicator <ggg>. It has a pretty good record of calling tops. here are some previous dates.

It has now called another one for 5/5/03.

Lets see if it keeps up its record.

guess we are closer to the top then than the bottom .I suggest you get out of the way when it gets there if you are long because it wont be pretty.
