As an experienced HR professional, I can share this. You generally do not conduct an interview without a solid placement offering and expect a seasoned professional with the level of experience they are looking for, 5-10 years, to leave their current position on a maybe. That is, IF we sell more products. Even currently unemployed need to know of some type of job security when hired. Sigma knows exactly what they need and you can see that from the job description. I think they know something IMO. And, not often is interviewing done too far in advance of the actual start date. This is just my experience and there will be other opinions out there.
