I try to just be honest. Sometimes it sounds harsh but there is no reason to hold back. The truth is I was told I would be contacted by a certain time last week and when that time passed I grew more skeptical about what we discussed. After contacting Stephen a lot of questions were answered and no, it was not EVERYTHING I wanted to hear although it all sounded 100% realistic. Nothing was sugar coated.
It's very apparent that they as a company do not want to release any more info than they have to until some vital questions were answered. My concerns were very simple. I feel the majority of the websites involved with ERBB are a complete and utter wordpress thrown together joke that reflects bad on ERBB and it's investors. Fix the god damn links, outdated blog, non working pages, etc. and it works wonders for your image. Between the vending machine site and the Cyber site I was furious to say the least. Don't be surprised to see some cleanup in the works from all fronts including the development side... I will say, I have many clients that make the same mistake and haven't updated their wordpress sites in over 3 years and they are 100% legit companies turning very respectable numbers. But to a new customer looking for their service? Psssh, they will run away at the first chance.
A GOOD team is everything. I've started multiple companies, most failures but I do see what NOT to do and many times that's much more important than doing something right. I do believe the board has learned from past mistakes and do not want give false hopes which is why things seem so much in the dark.
I hate to be the jackass that gives the classic "Wait till next month" speech but the truth is there are a lot of things planned in March but this week should also shed a lot of light on how this entire thing will be played out. If you don't hear anything by the end of the week and are still skeptical then just sell off and I won't say a damn word. I agree people need to be held to deadlines or at least have an explanation as to why something didn't work out but I do feel confident those are answers are coming.
