Elmer: The problem with moderating...
a board with opinions as diametrically opposed as exist here, is that there is likely to be no way to moderate to the satisfaction of everyone. No matter who's posts get deleted, and for whatever reason, someone will ultimately take offense and toss about accusations of bias. Shoot - I have publically stated my bias, as have you. People have agendas, and that will not change.
I will make every effort to moderate fairly, and fortunately, IHUB has a review process whereby my moderating efforts can be overruled by the administrators. They are the ones who will be the judge of any bias my moderation reflects, not anyone here on the board. Some here will like my actions, others will undoubtedly not. I won't lose sleep either way.
Of course, all possible implications of bias and deletions can be avoided if this august readership were to actually act like respectful adults. For the most part, that has happened. We will see what the future holds.
