To the QHz discussion, yes. The crux of my position was that times have changed and the need for some standardized system level performance metric was sorely needed. Then I pointed out why vested interests of companies like Intel and AMD would make this problematic to implement.

Sometimes, the best contribution is silence. I'm learning that lesson. Try it, you'll like it!
