Only partially correct. If you had pre split shares you cannot trade ( with Etrade) them right now. You can buy but you cannot sell unless it is a naked short trade !! I know that is a fact because I have etrade, been trying to sell and contacting etrade daily. If you want to buy new and sell you can - but you cannot sell the R/S shares because etrade is waiting on the transfer agent - Thats a fact Jack !
