This I agree with. Ed isn't looking for just any goon roaming the website to sign up. He's looking for the big guys.
And the big guys aren't roaming the net. Ed has to go to the big guys to convince them. Myechecks website is perfect as is. Simple and easy to use and brings a bit of insight on the gist of the company.

I dont think so either. Im not saying it would cause any deep issues, but there will certainly be at least a few people out there deterred, albeit illogically. For a reactionary leaning the wrong way before they even type in myec.com, it becomes "what a lame website. Their offer is probably too good to be true", or some other stupid justification for allowing themselves to react "no" in a "path of least resistance" move.

The smart move is to nail every aspect of customer interaction, and the internet has become more valuable than a phone book in its heydey imo.
