That's exactly why I said I wouldn't rely on that 45 day timeline as any kind of a comfort zone. Something could happen at anytime between now and then that could make this pop big!!
EchoStar Communications Corp. launched its 10th satellite Wednesday afternoon at 4:35 p.m. MST. Called EchoStar X, the satellite was built by Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems in Pennsylvania and assembled in Sunnyvale, Calif. The satellite will be used in conjunction with other EchoStar satellites to increase bandwidth and expand the channel offerings of EchoStar's DISH Network.
Sea Launch Co. of Long Beach, Calif., executed the launch.
EchoStar (NASDAQ: DISH - News), which is based in Englewood, is the second-largest satellite TV provider in the United States, with more than 12 million subscribers.
