It happened to me a while back and I couldn't figure out why until I checked my settings and viola, fixed. There is a setting to turn on/off whether you want your read posts to stay highlighted or not, I believe. It also happens if I visit a site like Etrade. Anytime I do visit Etrade then click over to Ihub my posts stay highlighted after reading them; no idea why it happens but it does so I just close the browser after visiting Etrade and open a new one and that problem is solved...
