I was all for going at it alone but having a larger pharma company with a stronger marketing arm would make better sense. Less costs to ELTP which would make getting the entire line of products to market faster. The next three months is going to be exciting.
lasers, my gut feeling is partnership. NH in the CC mentioned that he and JT had a meeting with a pharma the day before. He also said in passing that there is a lot of interest but any deal should be fair to Elite and its shareholders.
(1) Secure a partner now that wants to come on board immediately with "reasonable" participation agreements.
(2) Go 100% alone and raise authorized shares with shareholder approval and sign another "LPC" agreement where new shares are sold into the market.
(3) Any Combination of (1) and (2)
IMO however it will likely be (3). Partnership negotiations is a Hardball tactic. There is "no nice guy" possibility agreement. By securing an increase in Authorized Shares, Elite leaves "no weakness" by which the "hardball" partner can exploit. Elite, thereby gets the "best" deal for its shareholders which is NH plan!
