I always felt you had that ear to the ground.
Which makes me think of this Indian imagery although it is probably not so politically correct today (all the rage when I was growing up). I can see several of us dressed in Indian costumes with war paint on dancing around this stainless steel cart, making grunts - all in LW's living room!
