Thanks Jest for that post, I remember it very well. The only difference is, here the government/economy cannot do without the GSE's while the same cannot be said of WAMU. Otherwise, there's little doubt in my mind we would be headed down the same path.

HOWEVER, the parallels, Feds/JPM vs. F&F/WAMU are STRIKINGLY SIMILAR!!! JPM's Project West is a replica of Feds planned takeover of F&F to a "T", interchangeable, IF F&F would have gone into BK. IT WAS THE INTENT OF THE FEDS TO DRIVE F&F INTO BK JUST AS JPM/FDIC DID WITH WAMU, BUT THEY WERE UNSUCCESSFUL AT IT, SO THE FEDS PUT THEM INTO C-SHIP INSTEAD WITH THE LONG TERM GOAL OF DISMANTLING THEM VIA CONGRESSIONAL ACTION! THIS HAS FRAUD AND CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER WRITTEN ALL OVER IT. THIS IS NO COINCIDENCE FOLKS!!!
