Let me answer your questions...

1) "So why haven't they gotten this bond yet?"
The bond is non-refundable from what I gather so you better have all your ducks lined up before you give up the money. Even if it's refundable, it is a massive waste of money and effort if you don't have all the permits finished. They just got all the necessary permits the last couple months based on the Press Releases. There is no point in getting the reclamation bond posted until you have the reclamation permit. Look at last PR...

"United Resource Holdings Group, Inc. (“URHG”) (Pink Sheets: URHG) announced today that the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (“NDEP”), Bureau of Mining Regulation and Reclamation (“BMRR”), has decided to issue the approval of Nevada Reclamation Permit Application (the “Permit”) for URHG’s wholly owned subsidiary, Dun Glen Mining Corp. (“Dun Glen”).
BMRR notified URHG that the Public Notice period for the Dun Glen Reclamation Permit (#0346) was completed on November 19, 2013, and this Permit will be become effective on or about December 4, 2013, unless there is an appeal request filed by November 29, 2013, to the State Environment Commission. "

No point in posting the bond until the permit is complete. Permit was not effective until Dec. 4, 2013. So it hasn't been long since then, for all we know they could already have the money through selling shares in the market. Maybe this is why the price has dipped down this low.
From the Facebook update...
"Only the posting of the reclamation bond remains prior to Dun Glen commencing a full-scale production of digging into the best identified locations as recommended by Mr. Skopos."

2)Has anyone done any extensive research on who is running this thing?

3)"how have you managed to trade this thing at a profit when the volume has been nonexistent until recently? When the price jumped a couple months ago, the spread was too high to get out at the "market price."

From 1-9-13 to 1-13-13, those 3 trading days had 85k shares total traded at an average of of roughly .12 so an intelligent individual could have sold out a decent position. But I was never in URHG at that time, what I said was...
"I am a trader, not a long term investor, they never have to get a single ounce out of the ground for me to see 100% gains from here. See that move from the end of Dec. to the middle of January? 100% gains."
I didn't say I made the trade, just talking about the price action and what it could do again.
I hope everyone realizes that since then the gold/silver market has come back full swing. Gold has gone up over $100 an ounce and moving higher every day. Book Value on URHG is roughly .15 not including any possible profit from the mine itself which with a 20 year mine life could be tens of millions of dollars, especially at higher gold prices coming. If gold and silver keep moving higher this stock could be .40+ by summer
