Agreed I just graduated with an advertising degree. Screw that. This will pay for my masters so I can get into something involving trading. This stuff is ACTUALLY interesting. Probably the only thing I've ever really loved learning about.
Good for you. I actually believe school is overrated as well. It's a NEW ECONOMY we live in- are parents ways are done... (this is coming from someone who got his degree) -- I spent my first 5 year after college working in a corporate career.... good income but NO freedom. I read 'Rich Dad. Poor Dad' by Robert Kiyosaki and started with a network marketing company and have been 'retired' from work for the past 5 years. (Im in my mid 30's now) Investing in stocks is at the end of the day still gambling, but it is developing your "investing" muscles and entrepreneurial mindset -- all that is needed should you live the way of freedom and not of the rat race.
