Stocks Purchase (P) vs Acquisition (A)

EYE ... are you sure you are using the term Purchase correctly?

Take for Example the following transaction (you cited):

May 8, 2013
Date of Earliest Transaction (5/06/2013)
100,000 Shares at $1.41
This option vests in eight (8) equal quarterly installments over a two (2) year period beginning August 6, 2013 and each quarter thereafter until fully-vested.

I would advise you to verify the transaction directly on the SEC.GOV website:
Masten May 8, 2013 - Form 4

As you can see, the Transaction Code is A (acquisition) and not P (purchase)

How much did Mr. Masten pay for the Options? --> $0.00

See: 8. Price of Derivative Security (Instr. 5)

So, Masten got the options for for free (as part of the incentive/compensation package), he did not pay for them. He did not Purchase them, he only acquired them. There is a huge difference between A and P.

Hopefully ... it was an honest mistake on your side.

Pretty upsetting that someone they felt deserved 450k shares worth of options over the past year was kicked to the curb. It sums up perfectly how much they care about the dilution of the company IMO. Sad.
