It definitely exists. In fact, there are 10 of them that were built in a preproduction run for demo and sales purposes.

The problem is that it's really not that unique or better than the dozens of other units already sold and I use by the DOD. There are also two additional factors that have guaranteed they will never be adopted: 1. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are over. 2. Battis tried charging over $5k per unit when the existing lasers were roughly $1-2k each and already manufactured and field tested.
