Great-Grandma, I like your BOCX nickname "lottery stock." But there are times in life when a person should take a calculated risk on a possibility that has the potential for a nice reward. Besides that, it is just fun to see the measured chance that is taken have a happy ending. I saw a piece on TV a long time ago which talked about people who always seemed lucky. The truth that was revealed was that those so called "lucky" people had a lot to do with making their good luck. There are times when we all need to stick our necks out just a little.
