I doubt that Intel has built up a bunch of BYT-T inventory that it wants to ditch.

It is possible that Intel wants to get rid of inventory of these chips(40m) and then refocus its efforts.


......are you saying Intel built a fab shell they didn't need......fabricated 40M chips to keep their fabs full......and then went out and paid customers $500M+ to use them?........perhaps a bit more than a refocus is needed.
