It's a lovely concept, but the economics are simply not there except with unusual and extremely high priced products, such as marijuana.

It's actually already happening...and I couldn't agree more!

Hydroponics might just be the future of farming. More yield,less risk!

I know that in Chicago, about a month ago, a group bought a vacant lot for $1. They are going to turn it into a hydroponic farm to feed the hungry! Awesome stuff!

That particular group is not using these pods, but they are using hydroponics. The benefit here is the pods are stackable, and the other variables are much more closely regulated.
