Stocks under a buck add .5% of the transaction, no stop loss orders for stocks under a buck, no market orders for stocks under a buck, $500 minimum for cash acct. $2000 minimum for margin account. Check out Ameritrade. they charge $9.99 for all trades regardless of size. they also have excellent immediate executions.

FYI, Fidelity is a flat $7.95 with no additional charges, fees, or commissions. I think they're the best for penny stocks. Buy or sell as many shares at a time as you want for that flat fee. Buy as low subpenny as you want, doesn't matter. You just have to tell them you want your account "coded for penny stocks". I've had zero complaints, customer service is awesome, and their ActiveTraderPro platform is really good...
