Yeah Shail, yip had a reference to a DLA forum postponement back a couple of weeks ago when the Missile Defense Agency let us know their announcement could be extended to the end of March.

DLA Land & Maritime has canceled the DLA Land & Maritime Industry Outreach Forums Engine & Turbine Components, Mechanical Power Transmission that was scheduled Wednesday February 05, 2014 and Pipe & Tubing, Hoses, Valves, Pumps & Compressors scheduled Wednesday February 26, 2014. A new schedule is being established. Once firm dates are established the information will be posted on DIBBS Banner, FedBizOps, & Email Broadcast. Please direct questions to Michael David Fauris, Sr, Chief, Vendor Performance, [e-mail].

That quote over-rides these earlier posts. Hoping they are running things together with the MDA. There is a lot of action here. Just don't know what to make of it.

DLA Land & Maritime Industry Outreach Forums Revised Schedule
DLA Land & Maritime has rescheduled the remaining four (4) Industry Outreach Forums for various FSCs for 2014 calendar year. These forums are in response to the DoD Industry Outreach mandate and will secure an ongoing DLA presence in the commercial industrial sector. The venue will inform defense industry representatives of DLA priorities, challenges and needs, while simultaneously offering industry the opportunity to update DLA Land & Maritime leaders about new and emerging technologies, capabilities and processes. A venue to foster mutual understanding & sharing information between DLA and industrial sectors to provide the right item, at the right price, and on time delivery to the warfighter. Information regarding registration will be provided at a later date.

These are big things for us. It's confusing as hell though.

I have high expectations for tomorrow/Tuesday. Was surprised by my internal reaction at a social gathering this afternoon when one of the party participants started espousing everything he knew on equity trading. And I was talking about the craziness of the snow boarding when he piped up. In Florida, I had an urge to throw him in the pool:)
