the "prohibition" and the "war on drugs" called... they said... strike one, strike two... strike three your out...

Orion, thanks for the link... interesting read...

"In the past, 'the country really wasn't ready to walk away from cigarettes,' Daynard said. 'I think the country's ready now.'"

this, the final line of the article, made me smile... the attempts of governments to free people for their addictive choices has never proven very successful... my professional background includes both human behavior and addiction therapy... for whatever that's worth... probably less than two cents... :-)

From Orion's article post:

"But if the FDA can ratchet down nicotine in conventional cigarettes to levels below what's in e-cigarettes, perhaps everyone who clings to smoking will switch to the higher-nicotine new products. That could achieve the end of smoking, at least of combustible, carcinogen-filled cigarettes — or so the thinking goes."

If the quote above proves true, it seems like XXII has both bases covered here - the very high nicotine premium cig option and a potential FDA-regulated "ratcheted down nicotine" in conventional smokes.

Right products, right place, right time. Exciting indeed.

Interesting part of the article IMO

Excellent article! It sure seems that XXII is in the right palce at the right time! The more you read and the more testing that is done with Spectrum the more I believe something very BIG will come from this hopefully sooner then later! The scenario below would make XXII a very rich company for many of years and help accomplished the governments goals!
