As for the big prawn contract, I really do believe there is a final agreement. But the lawyers have to review everything. They need to make sure that all the gaps are filled. On the goverment's side as well as on Siaf's side. This is a big contract with big liability issues. And we are dealing with the government now, so everything has to be tip top. If one of the parties is not happy with certain details, then they can start all over again. I'm afraid this process could take a while considering how many factors there are and the scope of this project. So let's say we will get it between now and 3 months (worst case).

But that also means they have to disclose something now. They can't afford to let this leak in the Chinese media and spread from there.

Government bureaucracy is pretty much the same all over the world in that there will be long delays when compare to the private sector, which is driven by profit-motivation. For government workers there is very little incentive to get the job done so there is some downside working with the government. If the government is our partner I hope you are prepared for a lengthy start-up period.

In my book an agreement is not final before it has been signed by both parties.
