I understand net metering. I get it completely. Its great! My point is that its a deal with the utility companies and they could try to take that away from us. If they do in any form its a setback. However sltd is changing the landscape. If their product is able to reduce the cost of panels by say 50% due to revolutionary efficiency breakthrough....in say five years...and elon musk and the tesla gang start selling used battery packs reducing the cost of off grid battery systems as well In that same timeframe...then at some point the off grid systems cost is reduced to a point of usability. Right now its cost prohibitive for sure.
Net metering is a deal that could disappear. But this tech has the potential to make net metering a non issue.
