Not with td myself, but heard of issues. You might try phone order
but may get hit with higher fee. Im with Scottrade and their so-so, want to switch to Etrade or fidelity.

Well if you open a Scottrade account and do a wire transfer, you might be able to see your funds on Monday, or by latest Tuesday.

If you can't do a wire transfer, then just give them a cashiers check and your funds could be available the same day, or Tuesday by latest.

If you don't have a local branch, then find the nearest one and mail a cashiers check to them with same day delivery.
