Hey! Who cares as long as some guy in the supply chain agrees to try out APDN technology.

Just kidding. LOL.

But on a more serious note, someone, either Aston Martin or one of their suppliers/contract manufacturers has to be held accountable and that's the person who should look at APDN technology. In today's world of product manufacturing, this will be true in any industry segment.

Probably a little more complicated, but this all started out with sub-standard lever arms off the brake pedal of Aston Martin sports cars.

Personal opinion, with SigNature DNA, the root cause analysis can be determined if everyone in the supply chain signs on. Most of our controls (brakes, accelerator, shifting) has gone from mechanical linkage (primitive now) to DRIVE-BY-WIRE (DBW). Dependable as hell till it screws up.

Older styles linkage/cable control systems fairly reliable. Not hard to make a lever/see-saw that won't break. Seize up and weight added are factors we won't deal with here.

Original Component Manufacturers (OCMs) are relied on to build a system to specs (not failing until we gone through a couple hundred thousand miles with plenty of opportunity for remedial action is normally the top order spec).

Whole $#1t load of OCMs always been around for end product mfgs like cars. Bendix in brakes, Timken for bearings, Delco/Denso for alternators & starters, etc.

This is better for us too. AND validates the supply chain. Signing up as the Original Component Mfg. and then following that component through it's lifetime is just great for us. ANNNDDD, it's a valid way to ensure we're all interacting with some degree of legitimate conformance, cause our technology can kill.

Gonna run out, drive my flintstone mobile out for some beer and use my feet to stop where I need to. Probably not.
