you know...sometimes in this game it doesn't matter if you know you are right about something...if the crowd thinks otherwise, they'll run over you. It's a herd mentality....
It turned out that AF was prescient and Iclusig was not pristine.
AF was NOT prescient! He was a broken record, and reality just happened to coincide (for a moment) with his non-stop bashing of Ariad. He has been wrong over and over since the debacle. Listening to him would have cost you a 300% appreciation in the last two months.
Iclusig was not pristine
No serious, highly efficacious cancer drug is "pristine". All any last resort, life-saving drug has to offer is a reasonable side-effect/benefit ratio for the specific indication. Iclusig does that, and I expect that the ratio will be moving in the direction of Iclusig as doctors learn how to use it.
