Regular, photoperiod sensitive, strains of Cannabis are grown vegetatively on 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness and are triggered into flowering by altering the ratio to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark. Reducing the light ‘fools’ the plant into putting out flowers (growing buds); as, in nature, a reduction in daylight hours would mean that Autumn is approaching and the plant needs to reproduce.

How can you manipulate light like that outside.????
