It's all about keeping investors informed and demonstrating both adherence to and changes in time lines. It also has to do with material events and the filing for the start of a trial with the FDA is a material even to most investors.
I don't need any reassurances. I just like to stay informed and appreciate a CEO who keeps shareholders informed.
