If you just learn the rules of blackjack and how to ACTUALLY play and you sit at a table that doesnt have idiots at it who don't fuck up the hand for everyone, then you will be successful. It's always worked for me. I always scout the tables out and watch how the people at it play before I sit down. if someone hits when they shouldnt be, splitting when they shouldnt be, doubling, etc then I'm not sitting down there. If I'm playing the table when that happens, I bail out of that table the next hand. Even if you are counting cards, some dumbass at the table can fuck it up for you.
