Nuvola question.
I have a 1080 tv. No plans to upgrade tv just yet.

Sattelite/Directv. No plans to change that.

To access internet tv for netflix and vudu I use the DVD player which is connected via comcast internet. It is clunky because you have to switch over to the DVD player and wait for it to turn on. Takes some time. I wonder if this nuvola would be a solution to that? Would it be a quicker move between sattelite/directv and internet tv? Will I be able to manipulate the nuvola with the directv remote(I can do that with the DVD player)?
