Do me a huge favor, resign Carmelo to $24M a yr plus and really make me sick, just chew up 40% of our cap space on one player, oh yeah, that'd be real smart, grrrrrrr......When Carmelo says he'll take less, he doesn't mean les than he is currently getting pd, he means $5 less than the max contracts allow, whoopie.....Since we didn't want anything for him, let him walk elsewhere for nothing and a let a real GM takeover and build a TEAM, that can play defense, pass the ball, maybe win some games, wouldn't that be a nice combination?
