Nobody is whining. I'm just disappointed that the analyst is the face of this industry for now. He has filled a void because institutions have not initiated coverage here and the majority of real cannabis experts are not as willing to publicly disclose their affinity for the outlawed substance.
He was "chosen" because that is all there is right now, not because he is the best. After 30 years of participation in the markets, this is the peak of his career, chasing penny stocks? I worked at Merrill for 4 years and retired at 22 in 2000. Most folks I know with over 30 years experience are in St. Barts right now or Mallorca.
As far as your claims that nobody is an expert, I beg to differ. There are plenty of doctors, growers, distributors that have a vast knowledge of the effects, the cultivation, the laws, the trends of cannabis. That type of knowledge can be applied to the market. The analyst has only been covering cannabis for barely a year whereas others have dedicated their lives to it.
And I have absolutely zero desire to get on TV. Ironically, that is the very industry in which I work as a producer/exec producer on features, tv shows and broadcast tv commercials. I have no desire to have a following or have others rely on me for information. I post here anonymously. It is a dirty little secret of mine as I am not anywhere to be found on social media. I am 35 and pretty close to retiring. The last thing I want to do is pile more on my plate.
