I believe we are closer because MG Is done and MG is huge for the voip industry when coupled with RBR. So if people are interested, I think they will go sooner than later. Plus the fact that some have said on here that these BOD guys are older and have millions of shares. So if it is 1.5 or 2, who cares, they get out and have a good life. Maybe they aren't as greedy as us, which is why I think it will be sooner than later (if they get an offer in Feb).
The only unknown is UI. Maybe they aren't promoting it too much to industry players until they get UI?
