NTEK already explained they changed chipset as the A31 in the original prototype was not going to hold up to the demands of NTEK's intention & expectations for the product.
Real simple. You develop the architecture, hardware component, design, & do all they hypothesizing on the product. Then you build it. Then you test it under loads, etc., to see if it works the way you hoped.
NTEK decided that they could do better. And they have by securing the nVidia Tegra 4 chip & redoing the whole project from scratch.
NOW, here we are. The product was delayed.
SECOND, remember, NTEK near immediately unveiled stand-in (my words) COMMERCIALLY-focused models in the Nuvola NP-H1 so that they could continue to execute on the larger business plan? Namely, show that they could STREAM 4K (to wholesalers, buyers) more efficiently than anyone else was & BRING IT TO THE MASSES sooner rather than later.
