"Driven by" That sounds a little deceptive there. The projector isn't dependent on the np-1. JVC or any projector just displays the source regardless what it is. Composite video, vga analog or even a VHS deck plugged into it. As long as the input is on the back. Even dvi. It just sounded like the np=1 was more important than what it was in that demo. JVC and other projectors were demo'g 4K at 2013 CES already.
And was this at that one demo from months ago?
JVC has it's own division with professional media development so I would question any 'partnership' with a prototype developer such as NanoTech.
Talking to a JVC rep and scoring a testing session is totally believable however.
