Hopefully we can all come to know that sort of rush together here. I also bought higher and averaged down at least twice, and I'm still red for the moment. But I'm still holding to optimism.
Early on in life a friend of mine told me the story of his father, too personal for me to put on a public thread. It was about a missed opportunity to achieve something quite remarkable. His fathers friend endeavored where he did not, and became famous and wealthy. His father did not fare well in dealing with his regret, became an alcoholic and ended his life in suicide. The story taught me about taking hold of the opportunity to endeavor in life, and my own life experience has been much richer because of it, though not always in dollars and cents. For that I am indebted to my friend for sharing the story, as a means of offering encouragement to me in a difficult transition.
